Ascot, UK, February 2, 2023

EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737) today introduced the ColorEdge CS2400S – a 24.1-inch colour management monitor that is the first to usher in a new generation for the popular CS Series lineup. It is the successor to the ColorEdge CS2420 and features flexible USB Type-C® connectivity and sustainable packaging.

The ColorEdge CS2400S is designed to meet the wide-ranging of needs and budgets of creatives across a wide range of fields including photography, video, illustration, and design. With a display resolution of 1920 x 1200 across the 24.1-inch screen and the ability to faithfully reproduces 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, covering an array of creative opportunities Additionally, the monitor supports EIZO’s proprietary ColorNavigator 7 calibration software which makes a colour managed workflow simple and obtainable for creatives at every level.

The monitor is equipped with USB Type-C for single cable connectivity to a notebook PC. Simplifying the connection process reduces the cabling requirements for any workspace and reduces the requirement for connecting to multiple USB peripherals. The USB Type-C connection will supply up to 70 W of power to a connected device, such as a tablet or notebook PC. Ensuring that it is faster and easier to connect to your screen when moving between creative work areas or when working in a remote or home studio.

The outer design features a sleek cabinet with rounded edges and a non-intrusive stand allowing the monitor to fit comfortably in any creative environment. A carrying handle on the rear of the casing allows users to easily move the screen to other locations.

Contributing to a more sustainable future remains an important goal for both business and consumers who are expecting manufacturers to engage in environmentally friendly initiatives, work sustainably, and manage their carbon footprint throughout the manufacturing, shipping and lifecycle usage of their products. Since 2021, EIZO has been transitioning products from its RadiForce and FlexScan product lineups to more environmentally friendly packaging as a part of its company-wide efforts to become a more environmentally responsible manufacturer. The ColorEdge CS2400S is the first monitor in the ColorEdge series to shift to more sustainable cardboard and molded pulp packaging in place of conventional styrofoam and plastics.
